Since Tiffani pointed out that today is "National College Colors Day" and I only post from work where I have a limited supply of pictures on my hard drive, I thought this was a great opportunity for a post (or to be a copy cat).

Express Yourself....

Sometimes I like to look through old pictures when I'm in a bad mood and today is one of those days! This is one of my all time favorites and always seems to make me smile. Before I was on Pom, I was a member of the UT Dance Team. Each year we would have a spring show where members would choreograph various dances that we would showcase. My freshman year, our finale was a Madonna medley and I got the privilege of being in the "Express Yourself" portion of the dance. On the night of our dress rehearsal, the Daily Texan, the student newspaper, was in attendance. We had just received our "cones" that we were supposed to attach to our black sports bra as part of our costume and one of my friends and I thought they were hilarious. We spent a whole 10 minutes goofing around with the cones while the photographer captured every moment unbeknownst to us. The next morning, I saw this picture on the front page of the Daily Texan.....priceless!

Ruby Update & More....

I thought I would update for my absolute favorite picture of CC and Ruby. This is one of the pictures that was taken at the store as CC was in the checkout process. I thought it was so sweet in that you can see Ruby looking at CC and giving her a first kiss!

Speaking of dogs in general, maybe CC will purchase a dog seat for Ruby. There has been much to say about my usage of dog seats for my boys. Tiffani and Julie seem to think this is amusing and I'm posting this picture just for them. Please do not confuse this schnauzie boy with my Gus as he looks too mean! Yes, I have 2 of these in my back seat for the boys. They each get to look out a window as people look in with confusion. I know, I am paranoid and a bit OCD.

Miss Ruby Valentine

If you have come in contact with me in the last three days, you are very well aware that my sister, Courtney (aka CC), is now the proud owner of a boxer puppy named Ruby Valentine Cook. She has wanted a puppy for so long and after a gentle nudge from her big sister, finally found her match. CC is already proving herself to be a wonderful "mommy!"

E for Effort

After stalking a number of blogs for the past month, Tiffani has convinced me that I should now start a blog of my own. I have gone from checking Lainey Gossip, Perez Hilton or TMZ compulsively to perusing all of Tiffani's friends or suggested links as my daily reward from work. It's like my very own gossip website, but with "real" people and these real people are quite interesting. Yes - I am well aware that I have issues, but through Tiffani I have discovered that I'm not the only one! I'm sure I won't be as interesting as she is and I definitely don't have cute niece pictures to spice up my page, but I'll try my best!
